purchased form RLDS (Reformed Later Day Saints) who originally and constructed
the property and is now currently for sale under MCRE LLC., managed and owned
by Mr. Henry McClure a licensed Real Estate Broker in Topeka KS. Who was also
given a signed approval by the church to sell the property.
Henry McClure has 44 years of
real estate experience of real estate transactions of all kinds. Most of my
career has been dedicated Shopping Mall re-development, commercial leasing,
commercial sales, Mixed-Use/TIF redevelopment and sales of residential and
commercial real estate. I have played real advisory roles including but not
limited, commercial and residential development, leasing, zoning, real estate
tax valuation, platting issues and Brokers Opinions.
Improvement of the building have
been made over the years from the year purchased. One of which is the
installation of two (2) new front doors and one (1) new back doors near the
altar of the church. Gutters and new roof were also installed for the church
building in 1998, four (4) years after the property was purchased. A year
later, electrical services were upgraded to a 200amp service. Duct heater and
new hot water system were also installed the same year. Hardwood flooring were also
installed for the altar and Nave. In addition, new tiles were also installed
for the Fellowship Hall along with a baseboard for the heater in the Nursery.
Several improvements were made in the following years, one of which was the
installation of a Ram Trus T-Lift platform to serve the handicapped. The installation
of this elevator was in 2009.
The property now for sale for
the purpose of a fund raiser to fund the construction of a new church,
primarily to accommodate more patrons in the area. Whereas the asking price for
this property is at $600,000 the price is still negotiable for the buyer who is
willing to purchase the property.
For the condition of the building,
“it would be a good conversion to cool home” Henry McClure stated on a blogpost.
The elevator itself would be a nice addition to the home if the buyer would be willing
to convert it to a house.
For any inquiries or interest for
the property, Henry McClure is always open for a tour to anyone who is
willingly interested in purchasing. Mr. McClure’s contact information is posted
on the listing information.
